The Journey Begins - Stage I

Yesterday we started out from home, about three hours later than planned, and headed east across the Rocky Mountains.

The most exciting part of the trip was that we only had to stop once and made the drive in record time. Southern Wyoming, as seen from I-80 offers very little in the way of scenery beyond some sheep and antelope. We have a few days of down time visiting family and repacking before we take off on Thursday.
